Volunteering opportunity
Our World is changing rapidly. The effects of Climate Change are real and observable everywhere. It is an urgent and important matter everyone should be aware of and act accordingly. Changing our own lifestyle and planning in our consumption behavior is of key important. When creation is threatened, churches and Christians are called to speak out and act as an expression of their commitment to life, justice and love.
How can this be done at St. John’s and in our local community? How can we inspire our congregation, German expats in Melbourne other churches and Christians to act and advocate? We are inviting and looking for passionate volunteers to establish a working group that will work on this area and implement a plan for St. John’s.
